Obituary of Marion R. Boothe

Marion R. Boothe, age 76, of Buckhannon, WV, died Friday, July 2, 2021, at her home. She was born July 22, 1944, in Upshur County, WV, a daughter of the late Forman Wilbur and Nora Kittle Reed. On March 2, 1980, she married Thomas Boothe who survives of Buckhannon. She is also survived by three sisters, Phyllis Wilfong and Naomi Criss both of Buckhannon and Rose Mary Hughes of Mineral Wells, WV; special nieces, Sue Tenney and family of Buckhannon and Shannon Kurtz of Cary, NC; special nephew, Brandon Curry and wife Jaycee of Bridgeport, WV; brothers in law, Keith Allan Curry and wife Brenda of Jarvisville, WV, Gary Curry and wife Lora of Portsmouth, VA, Robert Sterling Curry and wife Teresa, WA and Barry Joseph Curry; sisters in law, Nancy Kurtz and Marietta Lynn Curry both of Cary, NC; several nieces and nephews and her mother in law, Ilahmae Francis Curry of Bridgeport, WV. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister in law, Diana Sue Holbert; father in law, Alonzo Curry; brothers, Ray, Charles, Russell, Corbin, Freeman, Willard and Gerald Reed and sister, Evelyn B. Miller. Mrs. Boothe was a Nurse. She loved to make crafts, especially jewelry. In honoring Mrs. Boothe’s wishes she will be cremated.
