Sue Spencer, age 73, of Buckhannon, WV, died Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Serenity Care Home in Buckhannon, WV. She was born August 18, 1948, in Century, WV, a daughter of the late Woodrow W. and Dorothy Nell Morris Spencer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Sybal Jo Anderson and one brother, Nelson “Sam” Spencer. She is survived by three sisters, Annette Saville and husband Wayne of Bridgeport, WV, Yvette Carr of Morgantown, WV and Lue Knabenshue and husband Michael of Buckhannon; three brothers, Cecil Spencer of Shinnston, WV, Paul Spencer and wife Sylvia of Kanawha Head, WV and Rick Spencer of Stonewood, WV, and numerous nieces and nephews. Sue was a Seamstress for Reidboard Brothers and attended The Way of Holiness Church of Buckhannon. Friends will be received Sunday, January 16, 2022, from 1 PM until 3 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 10 AM Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Murrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Way of Holiness Church. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
