Brother Sam, it is with great sadness to see you leave this physical life with us but am happy that you will live in peace, with no pain and rejoice by God's side. I am blessed to have known you as my "adopted father-in-law" and friend. You brought so much hope and joy to who Evers' life you touched and witnessed to. For some, it was a moment in their lives that they will remember. For others and me we will carry these wonderful memories that that will last a lifetime. It was an honor to have helped care for you and would do it all over again. I look forward to seeing you again one day when the Good Lord is ready. Love you. God bless.

Dad, a simple memory but a life long lasting one, is how much you loved to sit and have a cup of coffee one after the other and just sit and chat for hours. We sat up at night on the chairs on the porch of the hotel Caridad and I stayed in the last time I visited you in WV for hours sharing glasses of wine together and talking until the early morning hours of the new day. I will always remember and cherish the memory of our conversations and laughter. I miss you and love you always, Cathy
