Not just friends for 25 years but we are FAMILY. Brian, Tasha , Eli, Isaac, you all are the core of our group and always will be whether here with us or from above. Watching you boys grow through the years, you made your Dad proud more than you'll ever know. Tash, you are the mama that we always measured all others against. The quality of the years spent with your family can never be matched in time. Love you all and always will. Bubba lives on with all of us every day

I am so very sad for this loss. Brian used to manage my Dad's (John Matusky) glass shop in Clarksburg. Dad always said Brian was the best in the business. I spent a few summers at the shop working across from Brian. I learned more business management skills from him than 4 years of college. He was a great guy. His pride and joy were Tash and his boys. I will never forget how he would absolutely beam when he spoke of them. Tash, Eli, and Isaac, my heart goes out to you and my prayers are with you.

Brian Phillips aka Bubba, we have heard and read this week to many times and we don’t have words. Sitting here thinking about Bubba and his family, it is tough to find the words to describe this cat. Cat he is not, more like a Saint Bernard and about as graceful as one to boot! With that said he’d give you the sock off his foot if ya needed it. A comedian in disguise but a buyer/seller of stuff, madman behind the wheel of his rig. In the military, it’s one thing to lose a friend in battle but it’s different and difficult to understand when you lose a friend suddenly in life. Heather and I will continue to cherish his friendship and will try to emulate his kindness and friendship to others as Bubba would do. Our hearts breaks for Tasha, Eli, and Isaac - we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Our love and friendships will be forever, Scott & Heather

Bubba the grief your family and friends are feeling today from your passing they have no words for but The Bible tells us in John 14;3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself; that where I am there you may be also. It’s not a good bye from you it’s just an I’ll see you later. I will always remember what a big man you were with an even bigger smile for anyone who had the privilege to call you friend. Look over us all Till we meet again Ole friend.
