Obituary of Lee Ann Harper

Lee Ann Harper, age 43, of Buckhannon, WV, died Monday, October 14, 2024, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born July 8, 1981, in Elkins, WV, a daughter of Gary Bailey of Buckhannon and Ruth Ann Coakley Liggett of Buckhannon. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her best friend, David Harper of Buckhannon; one daughter, Janet Harper of Buckhannon; one son, David “Bubba” Harper, Jr., of Buckhannon; grandchildren, Xavier, Opie and LeeLynn Harper all of Buckhannon; one sister, Angela Bailey of Hackers Creek, WV; niece, Crystal Pumphrey of Buckhannon; nephew, Brandon Pumphrey of Buckhannon; several other  nieces and nephews; maternal grandmother, Noami Coakley of Buckhannon; several aunts, uncles and cousins and a sister, wife, and cousin, Rejeana Smith of Buckhannon and her dog, Sam. She was preceded in death by  her maternal grandfather, Roy Coakley and paternal grandfather and grandmother and also her beloved dog, Pixie. In her free time, she loved spending time with her kids and grandsons and taking her babies for rides in her buggy! She also loved cuddling up with her dog, Sam, while they watched TV together. In honoring Lee Ann’s wishes she will be cremated. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to help with funeral expenses. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
