When I was a kid papaw was my best friend. Anytime I had a hard day he would make it better just by being himself. He was always laughing and picking on people even in the toughest times, which made life so much brighter. That’s what he did though, he made life so bright. His smile was contagious and he was absolutely hilarious. You could always pull up a chair and listen to the radio with him or watch westerns by his side. He lived such a full life, and you could tell by the stories he told and the lives he touched. He was and will always be an amazing guy.
